Council Chair

Hi, my name is Stephen O’Riordan and I am extremely excited to be your Student Representative Council Chairperson for 2021/22.

My job for the year is to make sure all students feel represented, both through their Class Representatives and through speaking at Council. I have the honour of adjudicating over Council debate and ensuring that Class Reps have the ability to hold the Executive to account over their decisions, and can pass mandates telling the Executive what they want to see achieved. The SU is nothing without the student voice and Council is your opportunity to express it.
