Abtran are currently seeking students for part time hours evening and weekends up until Christmas. The shifts would be scheduled around 4-11pm Mon- Fri and 8-8 Sat and Sunday. There is a minimum requirement of 20 hours per week.
You will be based wither in our Curaheen, Model Farm Road or Mahon Office. There is regular bus service from city to door for each location.
Specific duties of the role include:
Handling a high volume of enquiries from customers, ensuring a quick and effective resolution
Providing relevant and up to date advice to customers
Developing a strong understanding of the business and the products/services on offer
Effectively managing a database through accurate and efficient data entry
Adhering strictly to data protection and confidentiality laws
Ad hoc administrative duties
This is a very fast paced role, requiring energetic and enthusiastic individuals with a real drive to succeed. In addition, the ideal candidates will possess:
An exceptional telephone manner and strong Customer Service ethic
Previous Customer Service experience in a Call Centre or similar environment (desirable however not essential)
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail Leaving Certificate or equivalent Computer literacy, ideally have completed a relevant course (e.g. ECDL)
Ability to work well either individually or as part of a team
Proven ability to deal with problems and solve them effectively
